Funds sought for guardians to assist Mr. Harrison on Honor Flight

You may be aware of Florence WWII veteran Calvin Harrison and the outpouring of love and respect he received in December. “Now as we flip the calendar to 2014, we have high hopes that Calvin can make the April 16 Honor Flight to see the WWII Memorial in Washington, D.C.,” reports Bill Krzyk with Honor Flight Myrtle Beach. Honor Flight would like to raise $1,500 from the Florence community to help three folks fly as guardians with Mr. Harrison (there is no cost to veterans). The three are his son Derrick, his social worker Lisa Hyatt, and his hospice nurse Cheryl Owens. Would you consider a donation to help continue this wonderful story? Honor Flight Myrtle Beach is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. For more information contact Bill Krzyk at (843)318-2045 or go online to www.HonorFlightMyrtleBeach.com
