THE NEW FAVORITE STRING BAND TO PERFORM BENEFIT CONCERT
The New Favorite String Band will perform for the House of Hope of the Pee Dee’s annual concert on Monday, March 31, at First Presbyterian Church. This annual benefit helps support this ministry to the homeless. Everyone is invited to come enjoy coffee and dessert, live music from the band, and hear stories of hope. The House of Hope of the Pee Dee is helping give homeless people in our community a warm and comfortable shelter, food, clothing and transportation. This Christian ministry equips homeless individuals to live independently through discipleship, job training and counseling. The homeless population in South Carolina has grown by 28% since 2011. On any given day, there are over 300 men, women and children in the Pee Dee area without a permanent place to call home. Come learn how you can partner with House of Hope to help restore the hearts and lives of the homeless in our community. Tickets are $15 each or two for $25 and are available at the Mission Mart on Irby Street, at the House of Hope Women’s facility on Darlington Street or at First Reliance, (Main Branch). If this is something you’d like to help sponsor, contact Erika Mills at 843-667-9000.
