Lindsey Elizabeth Griffin of Florence and Jonathan Blake Adams of Dovesville were married at 3 p. m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, at First Baptist Church in Florence.
The wedding ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Dale Welch. A program of wedding music was presented by Becky Hunter, pianist, Susan Graham, organist and Marty Huggins, soloist.
The bride was escorted by her father. She is the daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Harrison Griffin of Florence and Mr. James Michael Griffin of Hartsville. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Edward Harrison, Mrs. Hilda Brown Griffin of Florence and the late Mr. Gilbert Sterling Griffin. The bride is a graduate of Francis Marion University with a degree in mass communications and is employed with P. S. A. in Florence.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Albert “Buck” Adams of Dovesville. He is the grandson of Mr. John Wallace of Darlington and the late Mrs. Betty Wallace; Mrs. Major Adams of Darlington and the late Mr. Major Adams. The groom is employed with UPS in Florence.
Matron of honor was Courtney Dianne Eleazer of Miami, Fla. Maid of honor was Sloan Elizabeth Lewis of Myrtle Beach. Bridal attendants were Jennifer Brooke Adams of Dovesville, Amanda Adams Burr of Darlington, sisters of the groom; Christie Blair Griffin, sister-in-law of the bride, and Brittney Newsome Alich, both of Florence.
The groom’s father stood as his best man. Groomsmen were Jon Victor Landon of Elgin, John Reece Poole of Lamar, Todd Boice Jr., Weston Harper Deas and Michael Sterling Griffin, brother of the bride, all of Florence. Ushers were Harrison Anthony Boatwright and Harold Edward Boatwright, cousins of the bride, Richard James Young III and Gavin McLain Young, friends of the groom.
Flower girl was Miss Clara Lane Robertson of Gray Court. Ringbearer was Curtis Brandon Burr, nephew of the groom.
A reception was held following the ceremony at the Florence Country Club.
After a honeymoon trip, the couple will make their home in Darlington.
