COOKS FOR CHRIST HELPING RAISE FUNDS FOR SEMINARY IN MOZAMBIQUE
Cooks for Christ will host a chicken bog benefit on Thursday, Nov. 21, to help complete a seminary in Mozambique, Africa. Cooks for Christ and KWISA are raising funds for this ministry. The benefit will be held at the West Florence Fire Department on Pineneedles Road in Florence. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and dinner will be served from 4 p.m. until 7 pm. Tickets are $6 each. Lunch and dinner can be delivered for orders of 7 plates or more. Make checks payable to KWISA/ Africa Seminary. The menu consists of chicken bog, green beans, slaw and bread. One of the greatest needs in this African area is leadership training. This building will be used to equip men and women in the work of ministry.
They are eager to learn, but have little opportunity for training because of their limited resources. This training center offers an informal course for those who want to receive basic training for the ministry as well as a formal course that will offer an accredited program for those who want to go farther and deeper in their studies. There are also numerous seminars throughout the year to help pastors and leaders who want to grow in their ministry.
