Founded in 1981, The Volunteers have a rucksack full of music ranging from rock and pop to country and patriotic.
The Volunteers tour more than 100 days each year, bringing a potent message of patriotism and support to communities large and small. Its members zealously represent their fellow soldiers through music. It is not uncommon to find them in concert in the homes of veterans, hospitals, student events or in large arenas. The public is encouraged to bring portable chairs, food and drinks to the event. Restroom facilities will be available. The BB&T Amphitheatre is located on the Palmetto Street side of the FMU Performing Arts Center. The concert is sponsored by FMU and the Morning News.
