Timmonsville Resident Earns Degree from Western Governors University

SALT LAKE CITY (Grassroots Newswire) July 31, 2014 - Pamela Christmas of
Timmonsville (29161) has received his/her M.S. Educational Leadership from
Western Governors University (www.wgu.edu). The university held its 27th
semi-annual commencement ceremony in Salt Lake City on July 12 and
celebrated the graduation of more than 5,500 graduates. The university
awarded 3,085 undergraduate and 2,456 graduate degrees in business,
information technology, K-12 teacher education, and healthcare
professions, including nursing. Graduates reside in all 50 states, the
District of Columbia, as well as Armed Forces personnel stationed
overseas.

Under Secretary of Education, Ted Mitchell, delivered the commencement
address. Students who were not able to attend the ceremony in were able to
watch the event via live video stream on the WGU website.
