Casper-Naletelich vows recited

LAKEWOOD, WA. – Sarah Elizabeth Casper, formerly of Florence, S.C. and John David Naletelich, formerly of Trout Creek, MT, were married Sept. 6 at Thornewood Castle in Lakewood, WA. The Rev. Cheri DesMarais performed the 4 p.m. double-ring wedding ceremony in the formal English garden. The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Kevin and Barbara Casper of Florence.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis M. Thurin of Minerva, OH, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Casper of Malvern, OH. Sarah is a graduate of the Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics in Hartsville, S.C., and the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York. She is a captain in the United States Army.

The groom, formerly of Trout Creek, is the son of Mrs. Elizabeth Chestnut of Trout Creek and Mr. John Chestnut of Trout Creek. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Dum of Carlisle, PA., and the late Mr. and Mrs. John J. Naletelich of Middleburg Heights, OH. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy in West Point and a captain in the United States Army.

The bride’s close friend from college, Anita Phillips, was matron of honor. Her sisters, Jessica Sutkowski and Macaira Herford, served as bridesmaids. Best man was long-time friend Stryker Clark of Huson, MT. Groomsmen were Roney Jun and Matthew Heisler. Ceremony music was performed by Arcobaleno Strings from Tacoma, WA. Scripture readers were Bruce Thurin, uncle of bride and Kelley Naletelich, sister of the groom. A reception followed at the Thornewood Castle.
