Miss Collins, Dr. Brophy are united in marriage

Sarah Elizabeth Collins and Dr. Michael Gerard Brophy, both of Florence, were united in marriage on Feb. 6 at 6 p.m. in Central United Methodist Church. The Reverend William Francis Malambri III officiated the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Charles Michael Collins of Florence, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Winfred Collins of Mullins and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Ray Perritt of Marion.

The bride has a masters in occupational therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina and is employed with Pee Dee Orthopaedics. The groom is the son Mr. and Mrs. Gerard Timothy Brophy of Spartanburg. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward A. Brophy and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Dixon, all of Philadelphia, PA He holds a doctorate in physical therapy from Medical University of South Carolina and is employed with Heritage Healthcare. Anna Collins Salib of Charlotte, NC, was her sister’s matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Amy Kate Davis of Houston, TX, Elizabeth Mary Arrowsmith of Charleston, Leah Caitlin Jarrett of Greenville, Meagan Mahoney Chatlosh of Florence and Michelle Leah Smith of Myrtle Beach. Kaitlyn Rae O’Donnell of Florence was flower girl. Ring Bearer was Harrison Boyd O’Donnell of Florence. Best man was Ryan Michael Arrowsmith of Charleston. Groomsmen were Andrew Connor Smith of Myrtle Beach, Charles Michael Collins Jr. of Charleston, brother of the bride; Joseph Edward Smith of Myrtle Beach and Kevin Francis Condon of Philadelphia, PA. A reception followed in the Waters Building. The couple left on a wedding trip to Palm Island.
