Arcade to open at mall
Tilt Studio will be located in the space previously leased by JCPenney.
Tilt Studio, a national chain of video game arcades owned by Nickels and Dimes Inc., has signed a lease with PREIT Management to open in a new arcade in Magnolia Mall.
The arcade will be located in the former space that served as the location of JCPenney. The space measures 104,107 square feet.
There is no set opening date, according to officials with PREIT.
According to the Tilt Studio website, the company operates 13 locations across the United States.
“Tilt Studios has signed a lease to take over the space that once was JCPenney,” said Shanna Wilson, the marketing and administrative coordinator for PREIT. “Tilt Studios is a family entertainment facility inclusive of games, rides, bowling and other fun family experiences.”
Wilson said Tilt Studios is the first of its kind to offer an array of experiences such as these in the Florence area.
