Miss S.C. Sweet Potato Festival, Miss Teen pageant to be held Sunday

DARLINGTON – The Miss S.C. Sweet Potato Festival and Miss S.C. Sweet Potato Festival Teen scholarship pageants will be held on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 4 p.m. at St. John’s Elementary School Auditorium in Darlington. The pageant will feature the reigning Miss S.C. Sweet Potato Festival Caitlan Walzer, the reigning Miss S.C. Sweet Potato Festival Teen Payton Lang, Mrs. South Carolina 2008 Kim Sullivan, the Mayo High School for Math, Science and Technology Phoenix Phame showchoir, the Brenda Cranford School of Dance and X-Factor show participant Stone Martin. Both winners will represent the 32nd annual S.C. Sweet Potato Festival at the 2016 Miss South Carolina and Miss South Carolina Teen pageants in Columbia.

Tickets are $10 and available at the door. Competing for Miss S.C.
