Porkchop Productions coming to libraries

The Florence County Library System will welcome Porkchop Productions for Summer Reading 2016. This year’s theme, “On Your Mark, Get Set…Read!”, seeks to discover the world of reading. Founded in 1991, Porkchop Productions is a professional theatre company specializing in audience participation performances.

This year they will be performing “Tortoise and the Hare!” The race is on! Find out who will come out ahead in this high-energy adaptation of Aesop’s ageless fable. Lessons in gracefully accepting defeat and not blowing your own horn will leave you cheering for more. The shows will be at the following locations:

Monday, June 13:
