Wilson High IB grads receive diplomas
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Organization awarded 23 diplomas to Wilson High School graduates. In addition to demonstrating mastery in six subject areas, each diploma recipient wrote a 4,000-word research paper; met requirements of Community, Action, and Service; and participated in Theory of Knowledge where they demonstrated ways of knowing by making a presentation along with writing a paper.
Wilson’s diploma recipients scored above the world average in literature, history, and standard-level mathematics. One hundred percent of the higher-level mathematics students passed the exam. All of the diploma recipients will receive college credit for higher-level subjects in which they tested.
