Limestone’s Creps named Google Cloud Academic All-District
GAFFNEY— Limestone College senior outfielder Ryan Creps (Indiana, Pa.) has been named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District Baseball Team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and is now eligible for Academic All-America consideration.
The 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The Academic All-District Teams are divided into eight geographical districts across four different divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. As a first-team honoree, Creps advances to the Academic All-America ballot.
A three-time Academic All-Conference Carolinas selection, Creps batted .298 with nine homeruns, 11 doubles, three triples and 38 RBIs during his senior season. He ranked sixth in Conference Carolinas in triples while he finished in the top-15 in the league with 57 base hits and 42 runs scored.
Creps was selected to the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll in each of his first five semesters at Limestone, and he became the first player in team history to be named to the Academic All-Conference Team three times. He graduated with a degree in Business Management and Finance late last week.
The 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-American Team will be announced in June.
