Day of Caring sees record volunteers, projects
DAY OF CARING – Four ADP volunteers, above, participated in the United Way 24th Annual Day of Caring on Sept. 16. The 24th Annual Day of Caring kicked off the United Way Campaign with a “Pep Rally” breakfast on Friday, Sept. 16 at First Presbyterian Church. After breakfast a record 426 volunteers completed a record 76 projects at United Way members agencies. There were 32 companies and organizations participating in the Day of Caring. Companies with the most volunteers were ADP Tax Credit Services with 44 volunteers; Assurant with 37 volunteers and Otis Elevators with 34 volunteers. This year’s Campaign theme is “Giddy Up and Give.”
