Leadership Florence Class presents checks to non-profits
As a part of its efforts to assist the Greater Florence community, the Leadership Florence Class of 2021 presented checks to HopeHealth, Manna House and the United Way of Florence County. The checks, totaling more than $3,000, were the proceeds of the Leadership Florence “Helping Florence Bounce Back” class project and raffle. Along with the checks, the class also donated more than 200 hygiene kits to each of the three agencies. During the course of the project, the class had collection bins at more than 70 locations throughout Florence to collect everything from personal hygiene items to school supplies. The supply drive culminated in a Leadership Day of Service on Saturday, May 22. Paul Jones, below, accepted the check for Manna House. United Way President Cameron Packett, and Marketing and Agency Relations Director Jenna Nance, below left, were on hand to accept their check. The check for HopeHealth, top left, was presented to HopeHealth Chief Executive Officer Carl Humphries, along with Ashton White and Tevin Leary.
