Lions Club members are selling brooms
Members of the Florence Evening Lions Club will be selliing brooms at Sam’s Club this weekend.

The yellow vest of Florence Evening Lions Club members will be present at Sam’s Club on Friday, Sept. 20 and Saturday, Sept. 21 from 10 a.m., to 6 p.m. each day.

Members will be selling Lion’s brooms to raise funds to meet humanitarian needs in support of local community. The needs are ongoing and increasing as more and more deserving citizens qualify for needed assistance. Monies received from the public will allow club to meet the more pressing ones. With your financial assistance, an improved quality of life is being afforded to those requiring needed assistance.

“We are being inundated with growing humanitarian needs of deserving citizens,” said Waylon Hilley, club president. “Without public support where funds are generated through donations or fundraisers, we are unable to sustain fulfillment of the more pressing needs.”

Brooms for the house ($14) or warehouse ($17) and toy brooms ($6) for your children or grandchildren will be for sale. Delivery can be arranged. Please email, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call 843-260-3632.
