Each November, the McLeod Diabetes Center provides an extensive wealth of information at its largest community event, the Diabetes Health Fair. In its 17th year, the 2016 Diabetes Health Fair is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event will be held in the McLeod Medical Plaza at 800 East Cheves Street in Florence. The free Diabetes Health Fair includes blood sugar screenings, blood pressure screenings, foot checks, and eye screenings.
In addition, diabetes related nutrition, healthy food samples, stroke information and medication information will be available. Many outstanding diabetes vendors will be present with the latest diabetes products, and everyone who attends can register for door prizes.
