LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Jesus’ invitation: ‘Will you be mine?’
To the editor,
“In the beginning I created the heaven and the earth and I created you. I am your Creator. I loved you with an everlasting love but you have rebelled against me in sin. Nevertheless, I love you still and desire for you to be Mine. Will you? I died for you while you were yet sinners. I humbled Myself and left My home in Heaven to come to Earth to give My life a ransom for you. I have paid your sin debt. My dying for you proves My love for you. “Will you be mine?”
“I am the Rose of Sharon, and the Lily of the valleys.” “Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I AM meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest for your souls.” “Will you be mine?”
“I will do for you what My servant David testified that I did for him.” “He heard my cry and brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. He hath put a new song in my mouth.”- “I promise that I will do this for anyone that will be mine.”
“I have finished the work on earth that My father gave Me to do and I have returned to His right hand in Heaven where I AM preparing a place for those that are Mine. My work on earth was finished on the Cross where I shed My blood for the remission of your sin. You don’t have to do anything but believe My work is sufficient for you to be Mine and say yes to My invitation.
“I have made and showed you My choice. What will your Choice be ?”
“Will you be mine?” Signed, Jesus”
